SUBJECT : Recognition of Indus Hospital for Health Care Service to Central Government Employees at Shimla, Himachal Pradesh.

Sir,

I am directed to refer to your letter No. IH/A-17/94 dated the 6th September, 1994 on the subject mentioned above and to say that as per CS(MS) Rules, 1944, all hospitals recognized by the State Government for medical attendance and for treatment of their employees and/or members of their families are automatically regarded as included in the term 'Government Hospital'. As such, there is no need to separately recognize your hospital under CS(MS) Rules, 1944 for treatment of Government servants and/or members of their families.
