COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION
Indus Medical Foundation is actively involved
in the socio-cultural life of the community it serves.
Top priority is given for preservation and promotion
of cultural heritage of Himachal Pradesh. 
On First Friday of every month, free out patient
services are provided to the patients in the hospital.
Twenty percent discount is offered to these patients
on all diagnostic tests. The hospital is empannelled
with the State Government of Himachal Pradesh and
Govt. of India for providing cashless medical facilities
to the "below poverty line families" on
highly subsidized rates.
Indus Medical Foundation, the parent body of Indus
Hospital offers several Annual Awards for promotion
of excellence in science and education at the school
level in Himachal Pradesh. The Awards consist of rupees
5,000 each for outstanding students competing in children
science congress and toppers in high school and senior
secondary examination.
