Indus Medical Foundation is actively involved in the socio-cultural life of the community it serves. In summer, Indus Festival is celebrated in Shimla with hundreds of school children competing in the cultural show for the top three awards. Top priority is given for preservation and promotion of cultural heritage of Himachal Pradesh.

Each year several health care camps are organized in the under-served remote areas of Himachal Pradesh where free consultations and drug distribution worth Lacs of Rupees are undertaken for the benefit of the poor people.

Indus Medical Foundation, the parent body of Indus Hospital offers several Annual Awards for promotion of excellence in science and education at the school level in Himachal Pradesh. The Awards consist of rupees 5,000 each for outstanding students competing in children science congress and toppers in high school and senior secondary examination.
